Amaros Coffee — Straight from the Farm to Your Cup, Rooted in Legacy
At Amaros Coffee, every cup tells a story.
Our journey begins in the fertile highlands of Limmu Kossa, Ethiopia, where our family has cultivated coffee with passion and care for over three decades. Founded by Ghidey Berhe and now proudly continued by his firstborn, Amaros is more than a roastery it’s a tribute to a legacy of craftsmanship, connection, and culture.
From Ethiopian Soil to Your Cup
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, and the Limmu Kossa region offers an ideal environment: rich volcanic soil, high altitudes, and a perfect climate for growing exceptional 100% organic Arabica beans. For years, much of Ethiopia’s finest coffee was exported as raw green beans its rich heritage and flavor lost in transit.
We created Amaros to change that.
- By roasting in the UK ourselves, we preserve the integrity of our beans and ensure that what reaches your cup is exactly as nature and tradition intended.
- Single-Origin & Fully Traceable – Every bag of Amaros Coffee can be traced directly back to our family farm.
- Freshly Roasted in Small Batches – We roast only what we need, guaranteeing peak freshness and full-bodied flavor.
Ethically Grown & Fairly Traded – Our workers are our family. We treat them and pay them accordingly.
